A dishwasher is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in a kitchen by cleaning dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and equipment. They keep the dish pit organized, manage trash removal, sweep/mop floors, and sanitize food service areas, ensuring a steady supply of clean cookware for chefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning: Operating industrial dishwashers and hand-washing large pots, pans, and utensils.
- Organization: Sorting, stacking, and storing clean dishes, glasses, and silverware in appropriate areas.
- Sanitation: Adhering to health and safety regulations, including cleaning dish machines, emptying trash cans, and maintaining clean floors.
