Dishwasher - Cedars at Dungeness

We are now hiring Dishwashers at Cedars at Dungeness! Stay busy, keep things clean, and be part of a solid kitchen crew. Apply today! Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition and keeping workstation clean.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Separate and pre-wash dirty dishes, glass, and flatware delivered on bus trays and/or bus tubs
• Operate dishwashing equipment, proper use of chemicals and safety procedures
• Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
• Transport and store cleaned dishware, flatware and glassware properly and carefully
• Store and organize clean pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Clean and organize workstation to ensure that proper sanitation standards are maintained
• Ensure clean dishware, flatware and glassware are fully stocked at all times cook and server staff
• Remove trash from all food and beverage areas and transport to appropriate waste containers outside building
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations
• Follow all general and department policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• No experience necessary
• Knowledge of basic dish machine operations preferred
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions
• Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members
• Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
• Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner
