GNR has been retained to identify a DIRECTOR, US BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT with current experience developing new business with MARITIME customers such as the PENTAGON ~ US NAVY ~ SHIPBUILDERS ~ US COAST GUARD for an Internationally owned organization establishing a US foothold within DEFENSE companies in need of critical survivability solutions & protection systems!
- We need an individual with an existing DoD / Gov’t MARITIME rolodex to capture contracts & awards - you’ll navigate the Pentagon, Naval PEO Offices, and shipbuilders/shipyards.
- Reporting to the International VP Business Development you will present findings and educate Executive leadership team on initiatives, funding, servicing needs, and market trends.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST HAVE CURRENT Business Development experience within NAVAL PROGRAMS specifically for shipbuilding or major systems found on the vessels - identify, pursue, and capture new business & potential partnerships
- Capture customer needs (VOC), stay updated on current technologies & products to guide and build upon company’s success.
- Travel 20 – 50% domestic & International to Corp Headquarters, customers, trade shows, conferences etc...
- US Citizenship required + DoD clearance
OFFERING: Attractive base salary + bonus + great benefits package
LOCATION: WORK REMOTE – reporting to International HQ twice a year
