Be the core hands-on design leader while still being able to work closely with clients as well as leading design teams and experience strategies! Our client, a modern digital consulting firm built for the AI era, is looking for a Director of Product and Experience Design UI/UX.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

• Lead the creative vision for major accounts, translating business requirements into elegant, human-centered design systems.
• Facilitate executive workshops where you don't just talk—you build and iterate on concepts live in the room.
• Articulate and defend design decisions to client leadership, linking UX investments to measurable business ROI.
• Act as the hands-on design lead on key accounts, using generative AI and modern design tools to produce high-fidelity concepts and prototypes at speed.
• Revolutionize the design process by moving straight from strategy to visual evidence, skipping low-value documentation steps.
• Work with Product leaders to create immersive 'Product Visions' that help client leadership see the 'Art of the Possible' before a single line of code is written.
• Manage and mentor a team of Designers, pushing them to adopt AI tools and workflows that enhance their creativity and speed.
• Oversee the architecture of Design Systems in Figma, ensuring they are built for flexibility and rapid iteration and leverage new component-based tools such as Storybook.
• Foster a solution-oriented design culture where teams have a bias toward action developing new flows and prototypes and not sitting in meetings.

Required Experience:

ABOUT YOU!

• 7+ years of experience in Experience Design (UX/UI), with a portfolio that shows not just polished screens but complex problem-solving design system expertise.
• Deep experience with Figma is required; proficiency with AI image generation (Midjourney, Dall-E) and rapid site builders (Webflow, Framer) is a value add.
• 5+ years of people management experience, with a focus on coaching designers to become faster and more strategic while maintaining quality.
• A "Builder First" mentality and a "Show, Don’t Tell" leadership style.

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate’s qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, JD). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the company and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $190,000 to $230,000, not including other competitive benefits
