Job Details / Responsibilities:
Oversee the organization, development, and daily supervision of Therapy Operations to ensure delivery of the highest quality patient care
Manage, mentor, and lead a large team including 1 PT Team Lead, 1 OT Team Lead, 1 SLP Team Lead, and approximately 80 therapy staff (PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, and rehab technicians)
Develop, revise, implement, and communicate therapy policies, processes, and procedures while holding staff accountable
Collaborate closely with the CEO and Regional Director of Therapy Operations to align operations with hospital goals
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and promote continuous quality improvement in therapy services
Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on patient outcomes and professional growth
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted license in Virginia as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligible to transfer licensure to VA)
Current BLS certification
At least 5 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation hospital or acute care hospital settings
Minimum 2 years of experience managing large therapy teams (experience with teams of significant size preferred)
Proven leadership tenure with preference for at least 2+ years in leadership roles
Hands-on experience working directly with therapists and patients in inpatient rehab or acute care (no interest in purely corporate/program development backgrounds or outpatient-only experience)
