We are seeking an experienced and innovative individual to join our team as the Director of Sourcing & Procurement. This role is integral to our organization, as you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of supply chain management.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
2. Oversee all aspects of procurement processes, from identifying necessary goods and services to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
3. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering partnerships that benefit both parties.
5. Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure they are met.
6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in procurement and supply chain management, using this knowledge to inform strategy and decision-making.
7. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
8. Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable laws and regulations related to procurement and contract management.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement leadership role.
2. Proven experience in contract negotiations and managing supplier relationships.
3. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and use it to inform strategy and decision-making.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
8. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
9. Proficiency in procurement software and other relevant technology.
10. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve problems efficiently.
