The USA Sales Director, reports directly to the Global Sales President. This individual is responsible for achieving nationwide growth through strategic planning and execution. As well, the executive will be responsible for account management in Los Angeles County as a key part of their primary objectives in this role.

Responsibilities

  • The role involves developing capture plans, gathering market intelligence, and creating power maps and local networks. It requires establishing strong relationships with government officials and NGOs, and leveraging academic, technical, and professional connections. The ideal candidate will demonstrate pragmatism, leadership, strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, a global perspective, and a focus on profitability.
  • Provide strategy, win themes and other content as needed for RFP responses for prospective customers.
  • Use the sales CRM system to forecast, track and report on sales pipeline metrics in the assigned territory.
  • Engage with and support local or regional partners/channels to advance the sales.
  • Reviewing the capture plan monthly and achieving the assigned commercial goals.
  • Oversee project deployments to ensure compliance with client-agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Accountable for the collection in accordance with the contract and the milestones defined.

Job Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen.
  • At least 10 years of sales work with tech companies, very active in direct sales and business development around complex technology solutions for the electoral market.
  • Solid and demonstrable experience in direct sales of large projects and/or large technology, solutions or equipment deals to public sector (deal size US 20M to + US 100M.
  • Have advanced expertise in government affairs and the public procurement and bidding process in the contracting state and/or contracting county, city, or town.
  • Working knowledge of elections administration and voting procedures in the United States.
  • Ability to understand and navigate the personal and political dynamics of the prospects' organizations.
  • Experience directly managing and coaching teams of several people.
  • Have great interpersonal skills, a hands-on individual with the capacity to generate connections on every level.
  • Be technology savvy and well versed in solutions selling and value proposition formulation in the electoral market.
  • Be a leader, someone with ambition in the best sense of the word, results-oriented, entrepreneurial, motivated by sharing profits with the company.
  • Significant and leverageable network in place throughout the relevant market.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Economics or related.
  • Miller Heiman or similar certification (desired).
