Position Summary:

The Retreat at Sunny Vista is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead occupancy growth and community outreach efforts. This role is responsible for driving census, building meaningful relationships, and guiding prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process with care, empathy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve and exceed occupancy goals

Manage the full sales cycle, including inquiry follow-up, tours, relationship building, and closing

Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families

Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including hospitals, physicians, social workers, and community organizations

Plan and host events, community outreach initiatives, and networking opportunities

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of leads and sales activity in CRM systems

Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to align sales goals with operational excellence

Oversee marketing efforts, including digital presence, advertising, and promotional materials

Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth

Provide regular reports on sales performance, outreach efforts, and census development

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)

2–3+ years of sales experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centered approach

Ability to connect with seniors and their families in a meaningful and supportive way

Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented

Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior housing

Established relationships within the local healthcare or senior services community

Knowledge of the Colorado Springs market

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Pay Range Minimum: $56,000; Maximum:$64,000 plus potential for commission. The base range represents the low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include monthly bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
