Director of Revenue Optimization

- Own and lead short- and long-term revenue optimization strategies across all demand segments, ensuring alignment with enterprise EBITDA and profitability goals.
- Establish strategic pricing frameworks and demand strategies across transient, group, casino, and promotional segments, moving beyond tactical rate management to total revenue optimization.
- Anticipate shifts in market demand and competitive dynamics; proactively pivot strategies to protect and grow revenue performance.
- Provide executive-level revenue forecasts, scenario modeling, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee all forecasting deliverables including weekly, 30/60/90-day, in-month, and full-year outlooks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and executive readiness.
- Lead development and governance of analytical models, dashboards, and decision-support tools to drive evidence-based pricing and inventory decisions.
- Diagnose underperformance through root-cause analysis; align stakeholders on corrective actions and measurable outcomes.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive and non-technical audiences.
- Ensuring optimal content, pricing integrity, and promotional execution.
- Maintain relationships with distribution partners, leveraging data and performance insights to unlock incremental revenue opportunities.
- Ensure best practices in content scoring, merchandising, and channel optimization are consistently executed.
- Lead business review meetings with Sales, providing strategic guidance on group pricing, displacement, and total value assessments.
- Establish rolling small-group strategies and oversee group cutoff, pickup, and block optimization processes to maximize total worth.
- Ensure disciplined governance of group rooms control logs (GRC) and pickup reporting.
- Ensure operational teams receive clear, timely demand and occupancy insights to support staffing efficiency and service delivery.
- Drive alignment across departments to ensure flawless execution of revenue strategies.
- Prepare executive summaries, board-ready materials, and performance reviews.
- Represent Revenue Optimization leadership in senior forums as needed.
Required:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, Analytics, or Commercial Strategy within hospitality, gaming, or travel.
- Proven success leading revenue strategy for a complex hotel or resort environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong experience with forecasting, modeling, and performance analytics.
- Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders through data-driven insights.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics and visualization tools.
- Experience with Agilysys LMS property management system.
- Background in multi-property or enterprise revenue environments.
- Fast-paced, high-accountability environment requiring strategic agility and disciplined execution.
- Occasional extended hours aligned to business needs.
- Limited travel (<10%).
