Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Select, hire, and manage architects, designers, general contractors, construction managers, engineers, and specialty trades.
  • Negotiate contracts, scopes of work, timelines, and fee structures.
  • Hold all vendors accountable to agreed-upon quality, budget, and schedule benchmarks.

Budgeting, Cost Control & Value Engineering

  • Proactively identify construction risks, inefficiencies, or quality concerns and resolve them quickly.

Schedule, Risk & Owner Advocacy

  • Establish and manage realistic project schedules and milestones.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks related to permitting, supply chains, cost overruns, and timelines.
  • Act solely in the best interests of the family at all times.
  • Translate complex construction and financial matters into clear recommendations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
