As Director of Purchasing, you will shape the regional sourcing strategy, elevate supplier partnerships, and ensure the materials and components driving innovation are delivered with precision.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a regional purchasing strategy across multiple facilities
  • Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships focused on cost, quality, and delivery
  • Lead cost-down negotiations and total landed cost optimization initiatives
  • Monitor tariffs, logistics shifts, and supplier stability to mitigate risk proactively
  • Collaborate with plant operations to resolve supplier performance and quality issues
  • Drive data-backed supplier evaluation systems and performance reporting
  • Coordinate global sourcing initiatives with international purchasing leadership
  • Coach and develop direct reports, setting KPIs and driving accountability

About You:

  • 10+ years of leading strategic supplier management activities
  • Deep understanding of total landed cost modeling, including tariffs and trade impact
  • Strong financial modeling skills for make-versus-buy analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
