IDR is seeking a Director of Public Relations to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for a seasoned PR professional who is passionate about shaping narratives, strengthening reputations, and inspiring teams. The organization is a leading agency known for its innovative communications strategies across various sectors.
Position Overview for the Director of Public Relations:
- Lead PR strategy development and execution across a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients.
- Mentor and manage a high-performing team of communications professionals.
- Foster strong client relationships and coordinate with internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Play a key role in the growth and development of the agency’s reputation and business.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and deep expertise in public relations.
Requirements for the Director of Public Relations:
- 8-12 years of PR or communications experience, including prior agency experience
- Proven ability to lead integrated PR campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors
- Experience leading teams, ideally within a small to mid-sized agency setting
- Strong writing skills, with a portfolio of press releases, articles, or related work
- Knowledge or experience working with clients within the food and beverage and/or fashion industry is a plus
