Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization servicing the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking a strategic operations leader to act as a key partner to executive leadership and help scale the business.

Job Description:

The Director of Operations will serve as a senior leader overseeing daily business operations, financial performance, and project execution. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, strengthening accountability across teams, and supporting strategic expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall operational performance across multiple projects and departments
• Partner with executive leadership to improve margins, forecasting, and financial oversight
• Establish clear accountability measures for project leaders and department heads
• Analyze operational data and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and profitability
• Ensure company-wide adherence to safety standards and quality control protocols
• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities including geographic expansion
• Develop and mentor leadership staff to promote a results-driven culture
• Mitigate operational risk by maintaining strong internal controls and communication practices

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience within construction or enviromental field
• Strong financial and operational acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
• Proven ability to oversee multiple teams and drive measurable improvements
• Background in civil engineering, construction management, environmental services, business, or related field preferred
• Comfortable leveraging technology and data to inform decision-making
• Demonstrated track record of improving processes and leading change
