As Director of Nursing, you'll guide our Nursing Services Department with confidence and compassion, while bringing our Platinum Service® philosophy to life for residents, families, and staff.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all nursing services to ensure exceptional quality of care
- Plan, organize, and direct nursing operations in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead a strong clinical team within a stable, well-established care environment
- Partner closely with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary leadership team to drive continuous improvement
- Mentor, develop, and support nursing leaders and frontline staff
- Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and resident-centered care
- Ensure outstanding resident and family satisfaction through service excellence

Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (with flexibility based on community needs)
- Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience (DOE)

What You Bring
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical leadership with sound judgment and independent decision-making
- Professional, compassionate communication with residents, families, staff, and partners
- Comfort working with medically complex and post-acute populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems
- Current, active, unencumbered RN license in the state
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing, transitional care, or long-term care
- Demonstrated leadership experience with direct supervisory responsibility
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
This role includes direct supervision of nursing staff and requires a visible, engaged, and supportive leadership style.

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall functions of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be directed by the Executive Director to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Education and Experience
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in state.
- Three or more years of experience in nursing in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position does have direct reports and supervisory requirements.
