A skilled health care facility in the Greater Glens Falls area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team. This is a key role for a proven clinical leader who is passionate about quality care and staff development.

We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility providing both short-term post-acute care and long-term care services. Our team of professionals delivers 24-hour skilled nursing, therapy, and specialized programs designed to help residents achieve their highest level of health and independence. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all nursing staff in the facility
Develop, implement, and uphold nursing policies and procedures
Oversee hiring, training, and professional growth of nursing staff
Ensure proper staffing levels and maintain high standards of care
Monitor compliance, staff performance, and resident outcomes
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the nursing team
Qualifications
Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in long-term care
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
