Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology to lead and enhance the organization's technology operations. This role combines high-level strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader who can drive technology initiatives while remaining actively involved in critical systems, infrastructure, and upgrades. This individual will play a key role in optimizing performance, improving workflows, and supporting overall organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with organizational objectives, driving efficiency, scalability, and performance
• Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and security systems
• Administer and optimize CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and integrated technologies across departments
• Participate in system upgrades, maintenance, and critical infrastructure changes, including occasional after-hours support
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement effective solutions
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and service delivery oversight
• Lead cybersecurity efforts, including policy development, monitoring, and incident response
• Oversee IT support operations, ensuring timely issue resolution and high service standards
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments and resource allocation
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a mid-to-large organization or professional services environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity
• 5+ years of experience with CRM administration (e.g., Salesforce), including integrations and customization
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver technology solutions aligned with business needs
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting senior leadership and executive teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a professional services or legal environment
• Familiarity with document management, case management, or similar enterprise systems
• Master's degree or MBA preferred
• Knowledge of data security and privacy compliance standards
Work Arrangement
• Hybrid role near Century City, Los Angeles
• Must be local and available for onsite support during critical upgrades or operational needs
• Standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance
