Job Details
We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function for our Phoenix, AZ operations, driving talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational culture in a fast-growing company. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and workforce planning for a team of skilled professionals in a dynamic environment. This pivotal role offers the chance to build scalable HR systems that support our expansion, foster a values-based workplace, and contribute to our legacy of excellence in the Southwest.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, including talent acquisition for various roles.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention programs tailored to a field-service workforce.
- Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and succession planning to maintain a high-performing and safety-focused team.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws relevant to the industry.
- Administer benefits, compensation programs, and HR policies while promoting a culture of integrity and growth.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and partner with leadership on organizational development.
- Analyze HR metrics to optimize staffing and support expansion into new markets.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive HR management experience, with strong preference for experience in construction or related industries.
- Spanish speaking (Required)
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and compliance in a field-service or blue-collar environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing HR teams or vendors.
- Knowledge of Arizona employment regulations
