Job Title: Director of FP&A

Location: Tustin, CA

Pay: $200,000-220,000/year + 25% bonus + equity

A leading distribution company in Tustin, CA is seeking a high-impact Director of FP&A to lead and develop a large, multi-level team of Managers, Senior Financial Analysts, and Financial Analysts. This is a strategic leadership role within an organization committed to operational excellence, innovation, and investing in its people.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting process, shaping financial strategy and long-term performance.
• Deliver high-impact financial reporting packages, dashboards, and executive/Board presentations that influence key business decisions.
• Provide sharp variance analysis, trend insights, and actionable recommendations to guide senior leadership.
• Lead and modernize financial planning systems, reporting tools, and data architecture to build a best-in-class finance function.
• Champion automation and AI-driven analytics to elevate forecasting accuracy, speed, and strategic insight.
• Direct and develop regional finance teams, empowering field leadership with consistent, actionable financial guidance.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships and lead high-visibility special projects with measurable impact.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with deep FP&A and consolidated reporting expertise.
• Strong background in executive-level reporting, financial systems, and management presentations.
• Experience overseeing regional or field-based finance teams preferred.
• Industry experience in multi-site environments a plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; hands-on experience with ERP and FP&A systems required.
• Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented.
