Job Details

Your purpose:

The successful candidate will oversee, lead, and manage daily financial aid operations in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations while working closely with the Campus President and the Vice President of Financial Aid.

Director of Financial Aid Duties:

You’ll manage, train, and cheer on a team of finacial aid reps.
You’ll talk with students and parents to explain their options and help them feel confident about their financial decisions.
You’ll make sure all the paperwork for of Title IV funds is handled correctly and on time.
You’ll look for ways to make our processes faster and easier for students.
You’ll team up with other departments, like Admissions and the Registrar, to make sure students have everything they need to succeed from day one.

Director of Financial Aid Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
10 years of experience in a post-secondary education setting (required)
3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in financial aid operations (preferred)
3-5 five years’ experience administering Title IV financial aid programs (preferred)
Title IV proprietary education experience (required)
NASFAA credentials or Title IV-related certifications (preferred)

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8a-5pm
Work: on-campus position, working in a professional indoor office.
