- Ensure GAAP compliance and oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, stock-based compensation, and 409A valuations.
- Manage all federal and multi-state tax filings and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Drive finance systems implementation (NetSuite/ERP) and continuous process improvement, including internal controls and operational workflows.
- Develop financial models, KPI dashboards, and board-level reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead financial due diligence, fundraising support (Series B/C+), and IPO readiness including audit preparation and SOX-aligned controls.
- Act as a player-coach, balancing hands-on execution with team leadership and process design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a senior finance role
- Must have high-growth SaaS or subscription-based technology companies
- Big 4/public accounting audit background
