Overview:Are you a visionary technical leader in hospitality engineering seeking a transformative Director of Engineering role? Join our team as the Director of Engineering and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our property. As the Director of Engineering, you will oversee a dynamic team and be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all engineering operations. From enhancing energy efficiency to maintaining state-of-the-art hospitality facilities, you will drive operational excellence and deliver superior guest experiences. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize engineering operations and enhance overall efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of the property's infrastructure and systems.
- Manage the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering services.
- Implement sustainable hospitality engineering initiatives to drive energy conservation and green facility management.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and exceptional service delivery.
- Previous experience as a Director or Assistant Director required
- Proven experience in hotel, institutional, and commercial HVAC systems management (3-5 years)
- Refrigeration, HVAC certification
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, preventative maintenance systems etc
- Budget management, cost control and financial responsibility experience with stationary engineering licensed preferred Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
