Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing engineering talent
- Establish performance expectations and support career development pathways
- Align teams with organizational vision and strategic goals
- Research, evaluate, and develop new product offerings
- Improve and optimize existing solutions
- Oversee product testing, validation, and documentation
- Provide technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
- Develop technical resources for sales, marketing, and training teams
- Deliver presentations to engineers, specifiers, and clients
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Lead commercial services strategy and long-term vision
- Drive revenue targets and departmental KPIs
Qualifications
- Licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) – REQUIRED
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 8+ years in geotechnical/structural engineering
- Expertise in soil mechanics, deep foundation design, and building construction
- Leadership experience managing technical teams and setting vision
- Proficiency in modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and materials expertise (steel, concrete)
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Willingness to travel occasionally across the U.S. and Canada
