Director of Business Development - NJ - Hospice
Our client, a top leader in the hospice healthcare industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead their market development efforts in the State of New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven professional to join a dedicated and compassionate team focused on providing outstanding hospice care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Development: Guide and mentor team members by offering strategic direction and coaching in sales conversations based on the client’s sales model. Ensure consistent implementation of territory and account planning while utilizing CRM tools effectively.
- Field Coaching and Relationship Building: Conduct regular visits with team members to train and develop lasting relationships with key customers. Identify and leverage opportunities for team strength and personal professional growth.
- Regular Performance Feedback: Deliver timely and specific feedback to the team regarding sales model effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: As the sales leader, set and drive the direction of the team to achieve sales targets and execute strategic business goals. Ensure successful collaboration with professional partners to optimize customer interactions and outcomes.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate professional relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, physicians, post-acute care facilities, and assisted living communities.
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Utilize tools and market knowledge to assess opportunities and improve areas of weakness proactively. Execute growth strategies with a strong understanding of healthcare and market dynamics.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in coaching and guiding sales representatives in the field.
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, sales, or marketing sectors.
- Strong proficiency in business analytics, with the ability to forecast growth opportunities.
- Proven experience in developing successful strategies and solutions to drive sales.
- Skilled in preparing and delivering compelling product presentations.
- Demonstrated ability in crafting effective business and sales plans.
- Strong leadership capabilities to effectively motivate, develop, and manage sales team performance. Should also adeptly administer disciplinary procedures through effective coaching if needed.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
