As Director of Commercial Sales focused on New Logos, you will lead a high-growth team dedicated to expanding Boomi’s market share at the forefront of the AI revolution. You will be the architect of our acquisition strategy, fostering a high-energy hunter culture. Your mission is to drive aggressive pipeline generation and win new customers by articulating the transformative power of Boomi’s platform to organizations not yet in our ecosystem.
Location: This role can be based in major US markets or from our Vancouver commercial hub.
What You’ll Do
• Lead the "Hunter" Organization: Oversee a team of Sales Leaders and Account Executives focused exclusively on net-new customer acquisition within the Commercial segment.
• Strategic Prospecting: Partner with Marketing, Enablement and Sales Development teams to refine lead generation engines and ensure a robust top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Drive Execution: Direct the efforts of sales makers to achieve monthly and quarterly new business bookings targets.
• Coach Performance: Provide hands-on development and inspiration; masterfully coach the team on MEDDPICC to ensure high win rates and deal integrity.
• Market Alignment: Monitor competitor landscapes and market shifts to pivot outreach strategies and positioning effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Channel and Alliance teams to leverage partner-led opportunities for new logo growth.
The Experience You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant sales experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, specifically managing high-growth acquisition teams.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding net-new revenue quotas in a SaaS environment.
• Deep expertise in MEDDPICC and value-based selling.
• Exceptional ability to forecast new business bookings accurately in SFDC, Gong and Clari.
