Direct Support Professional – Weekday Awake Overnight

Location: Monroeville, PA / Penn Hills, PA
Schedule: Full-Time

  • Sunday 11p–9a

      Monday, Tuesday 10:30p-9a AND

      Wednesday 10:30p-7a

Caseload: 1-2 individuals

 

Tutelage Residential Services is a community-based agency supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in a residential setting. We're looking for a dependable, compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our awake overnight team and provide safe, reliable, person-centered support in a low stress and relaxed environment.

 


 

What You'll Do

  • Maintain a safe, stable, and supportive overnight environment

  • Provide direct care tailored to individual needs

  • Implement positive support plans and encourage independence

  • Assist with daily living tasks, meal monitoring, cleaning, and transportation

  • Administer medication (training provided)

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation

  • Conduct routine safety checks and fire drills

  • Communicate with the team to ensure continuity of care

 


 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1 year of Human Services experience (preferred)

  • Valid PA driver's license with acceptable driving record

  • Ability to pass background checks, physical exam, and TB test

  • CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs, and operate mobility equipment

  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and problem-solving ability
