Direct Support Professional

Creed Medical is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and improving their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and facilitating community participation. Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
• Encourage and support participation in social and community events.
• Implement care plans tailored to the needs and goals of each individual.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress.
• Ensure safety and adherence to health guidelines.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in direct care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.
• Empathy, patience, and commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
