Electrical Engineer – Analog & Digital (Tactical Radio Systems)
Salary Range: $90,500- $140,000Overview
The successful candidate will have a strong Analog and Digital Electrical Engineering background and will support critical component shortages, design updates, and ongoing development for the company’s tactical radio products and accessories. This role works cross-functionally with design engineering and operations teams to ensure continuous manufacturing and support new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, develop, modify, evaluate, and integrate complex, high-performance digital hardware systems
Support continuous manufacturing by resolving component shortages and design-related production issues
Prioritize technical tasks based on engineering complexity and revenue impact
Lead product development efforts from component selection through ECOs and factory implementation
Analyze electrical requirements to assess design feasibility, cost, and schedule
Perform hands-on testing using lab equipment including:
Oscilloscopes
Spectrum analyzers
Network analyzers
Signal generators
Conduct experimental testing, evaluate results, and establish operating data
Apply specialized expertise across:
Analog & digital design
FPGA, DSP, and CCA
Power, antenna, and control systems
Provide timely technical support to resolve issues impacting production and revenue in designated manufacturing facilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
ORGraduate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
OR10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Proven experience designing state-of-the-art analog and digital electronic circuits
Strong knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout
Experience with:
Analog & digital circuit design, tuning, and verification
Power optimization and efficiency analysis
Experience implementing signal processing algorithms in FPGAs and software
Hands-on experience with part selection and working directly with component manufacturers
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Digital focus preferred)
Familiarity with electronic components such as:
ASICs
PLLs
DACs
Amplifiers
Power supplies
Experience supporting prototype hardware bring-up
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
