Dietary Cook

Lorien Taneytown is hiring a Dietary Cook to join our dynamic team! We’re looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic cook who loves to experiment with new cooking techniques and bring fresh ideas to our dietary operations.  Compensation

• $18.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Shift differentials available

• Same Day Pay for all employees

Dietary Cook – Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences

• 綾 Incorporate new cooking methods and techniques to enhance menu offerings

• 識 Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment

•  Follow portioning, serving, and food safety standards

• 欄 Work closely with the dietary team to ensure smooth, efficient meal service

• ️ Create enjoyable dining experiences for residents with quality, presentation, and taste

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
•  Previous cooking experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is a plus!

• Full/Part Time available
• Schedule:5:45a-2:15p/11a-7:30p
• Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
