We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join our hospitality team. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our residents' daily lives, ensuring they receive nutritious, delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. What You’ll Do
- Meal Service: Assist in preparing and serving meals according to residents’ specific dietary plans and preferences (e.g., heart-healthy, pureed, or low-sodium).
- Dining Setup: Set up meals trays with linens, silverware, and condiments.
- Kitchen Support: Assist the Cook with basic food prep and portioning.
- Sanitation: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of trash according to health safety regulations.
- Compliance: Follow all food safety (HACCP) and infection control protocols to ensure resident safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
- Skills: Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary cards; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [e.g., 30 lbs].
- Heart for Service: A patient, friendly attitude toward elderly residents and their families.
