Position Summary
The Dietary Aide IV Cook is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.

Responsibilities


You will provide restaurant-style dining while supporting our commitment to using whole, fresh, local, and sustainable products wherever economically possible
You will provide outstanding customer service in support of our organizational values while serving a diverse population
You will apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and will possess the ability to collaborate to provide a quality product and exceptional experience for our customers
You will have skilled knowledge in all stations of the kitchen, handling food in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations

Requirements


High school graduate or equivalent
Culinary Arts Program graduate preferred
Current Washington State Food Handlers Card
Serve-Safe certification preferred
Minimum one (1) year cooking experience in casual to fine dining, hotels or healthcare line cook

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.70 - $33.02 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
