Dietary Aide / Cook PRN

Crowne Health Care is currently accepting applications for a PRN Dietary Aide / Cook within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. Qualifications

1. Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
2. Able to follow instructions
3. Experience with commercial kitchen appliances
4. Friendly with good communication skills
5. Good physical condition and stamina
6. Experience in food service preferred
7. Reliable transportation required
8. Part time or full time

Essential Job Functions

1. Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
2. Cooking meals following specific procedures
3. Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
4. Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
5. Staying current on the individual procedures, protocols and education for the facility, including state-specified rules and regulations
6. Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
