Diesel Mechanic

Overview: Local landscape supply provider is looking to add a diesel mechanic or a Lube Tech for full time permanent position. Long term, room to grow, great culture.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Lube Tech for all properties for Heavy Equipment and Fleet Vehicles
• Repair mechanical systems on heavy equipment (Caterpillar) or large vehicles (Dump trucks)
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Clean Machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with other equipment on property that can include small engines

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diesel mechanic knowledge required
• Willingness to provide own tools (some specific to equipment are provided) 
• Ability to troubleshoot using computer and diagnostic equipment preferred
• Problem solver
• Reliability is a must
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders for 8hr shifts
• Willingness to work in all outdoor weather conditions

Hours/Shift:
Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Pay:
Depends on previous experience/knowledge

$20.00-30.00 an hour DOE
