Responsibilities:
- Examine and repair power equipment such as cranes, loaders, and bulldozers.
- Diagnose and resolve machinery defects, using tools and hoists for assembly and disassembly.
- Conduct welding repairs on parts and structures.
- Perform routine maintenance checks including fluid levels and lubrication.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Accurately complete paperwork and logs at the end of each shift.
- Ensure workplace safety by adhering to all protocols and being aware of any potential hazards.
- Cross-train to enhance skills and support various tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and mend electrical and hydraulic systems promptly.
- Employ technical drawings and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Procure necessary parts and implement repairs.
- Lead and instruct team members during maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Diesel engine mechanic certification essential, with a preference for CAT SIS program experience.
- At least 5 years of industrial or mining environment experience.
- Strong familiarity with equipment like cranes and bulldozers.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools and performing system repairs to OEM standards.
- Proficient in dismantling, repairing, and reassembling machinery.
- Competent in using lifting devices and tools.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computing.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in varying temperatures both indoors and outdoors.
- Capability to lift over 50 pounds regularly.
- Adherence to PPE requirements and safety standards.
