A fast-growing, technology-driven company is seeking a hands on development manager to lead a team of talented software engineers in the design and delivery of innovative software solutions for real-world applications, including connected devices, payment systems, and smart infrastructure.

This hybrid leadership role blends hands-on software development with team mentorship and project oversight. You’ll drive architecture, ensure high-quality code, manage agile workflows, and support the growth of an exceptional engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical direction and architectural leadership on scalable software systems
  • Promote best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and documentation
  • Manage agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery commitments
  • Mentor and develop a team of engineers through coaching, 1:1s, and performance reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and Infrastructure
  • Support applications that interface with hardware and edge devices as well as cloud platforms
  • Participate in hands-on development when needed, particularly with .NET and modern front-end stacks

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of software development experience; 2+ years in a technical leadership role
  • Proficiency with .NET Core, React, JavaScript, SQL/PostgreSQL
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with edge computing and hardware/software integrations is a plus
  • Strong agile leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for mentorship, innovation, and building reliable, scalable systems
