Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Software Developer for a 6?month contract role to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions in an enterprise environment. This position is fully remote within the United States and requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an ANACI security clearance. The ideal candidate brings strong Apex development expertise, a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross?functional teams in an Agile setting.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex (triggers, controllers, batch, and asynchronous processing).
- Build and optimize Salesforce Flows to support business automation and scalability.
- Implement Salesforce integration patterns to support data exchange with external systems.
- Design and implement technical solutions aligned with business and functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while adhering to Salesforce best practices and Governor Limits.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce administrators, business analysts, and development team members.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability of solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for customizations and integrations.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
Years of Experience and Education
- Minimum of 3 years of hands?on experience as a Salesforce Developer in an enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ANACI clearance (required).
- U.S. citizenship required.
Skills Required
Top Hard Skills:
- Enterprise?level experience implementing and deploying custom solutions using Salesforce Apex.
- Strong experience with Salesforce integration patterns and data exchange strategies.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce Flow optimization and automation.
- Expertise with Lightning Component Framework; experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) preferred.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce administration fundamentals, including data model, security model, and configuration.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Governor Limits and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX and modern development workflows.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Exposure to MuleSoft, Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Agile development methodology experience.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and changing requirements.
- Critical thinking with the ability to apply objective analysis and sound technical judgment.
