Description
- Focus on advancing automation and robotic technologies in the oil and gas sector.
- Design, develop, and deploy robotic control systems for drilling operations.
- Work in challenging environments primarily in the land drilling sector.
- Integrate sensors and control systems for autonomous operations.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for prototyping and testing.
- Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic systems tailored for drilling and pipe-handling applications.
- Integrate control systems for autonomous drilling and data acquisition.
- Collaborate with teams to prototype and test control solutions.
- Develop software for real-time control and remote operation of platforms.
- Conduct field trials and validation tests in various environments.
- Analyze performance data and optimize systems for safety and efficiency.
- Document engineering processes and test results.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing and developing robotic systems.
- Proficiency in integrating sensors and control systems.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the industry.
