Desktop Support Technician II: 26-00407

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently troubleshoot and replace PC and laptop hardware, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage hardware upgrades, disposals, and the loaner program, keeping an accurate record of the asset and software inventory.
• Offer first and second-level support for desktop and enterprise applications, including email, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues.
• Build and deploy new workstations (desktops & laptops), including installation and upgrade of hardware/software on Windows workstations.
• Maintain positive customer relations through effective follow-up and manage customer issues by creating, tracking, and documenting technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with both PC and Mac systems in a service desk or desktop support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical users.
• Solid problem-solving, diagnosis, and troubleshooting skills.

Industry Experience Required:

• Prior experience in an onsite support role within a corporate environment, with a preference for candidates with experience in a Walk-Up Bar setting.
• Familiarity with networking (Wi-Fi and Wired), Windows Active Directory, Exchange, and video conferencing support (e.g., Zoom) is essential.
