Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Help Desk professional. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth technical operations and providing excellent support to our users. The position is based in Detroit, MI, and is a 6-month contract opportunity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technological curriculum or five years of related experience combined with a technical certification.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Ability to analyze and resolve computer problems.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications.
• Knowledge of problem tracking procedures and problem tracking software.
• Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform problem-solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems such as PCs and printers for department users.
• Provide technical assistance and maintenance support to departmental and end-users, both hands-on and via telephone remotely.
• Document problem resolution steps performed in the call tracking system and escalate issues to a higher level when necessary.
