Designer

Position Description: Designer (Seattle, WA) – Full Time

Plan and design structures. Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs, using computer-aided design or other tools. Prepare information regarding schematic design, design development, construction design, architecture specifications, materials, model building, or construction schedule. Prepare detailed drawings of architectural designs with computations and plans including the corporate and urban design practice. Present and discuss planning, design, renderings, models and graphics, and delivery options and solutions. Compile data and assist in production of design amendments, addenda and bulletins. Perform site analysis, area calculations, prepare adaptations and technical alternatives, and assist in construction administration. Utilize technical skills in Autodesk Products (Revit and AutoCAD Architecture), Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and Enscape. Supervised by licensed architect.

 Position Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture or closely related field plus 12 months of experience in the job offered or as an Architectural Designer, Architect, or closely related. Position requires 12 months of experience with each of the following: working with architectural projects; preparing design options with architectural computation; working with Autodesk Products (Revit and AutoCAD Architecture), Adobe Products (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
