Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field is a plus.
7–10+ years of hands-on machining and prototype fabrication experience, preferably in medical
device or regulated industries.
• Demonstrated experience operating manual and CNC machining equipment; CNC programming
exposure (G-code and/or CAM systems) preferred.
• Proven willingness to personally fabricate prototype components using a wide range of
manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of machining methods, tolerances, materials, and tooling selection.
• Familiarity with plastic injection molding processes is a plus.
• Experience working in ISO 13485 and FDA-regulated environments preferred
This role places a strong emphasis on hands-on machining and prototype manufacturing using CNC,
manual, and custom-developed equipment. The position requires a demonstrated willingness and
capability to personally manufacture a wide variety of medical device prototypes while
collaborating closely with engineers in a regulated environment
Prototyping and Machining supports engineering, design services, and R&D activities by fabricating, modifying, and assembling medical device prototypes, tooling, and fixtures.
