Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, is seeking a passionate and skilled Design Liaison Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Design Liaison Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements and resolve hardware non-conformances while maintaining high-quality standards for customers
  • Support Design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent Engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Assist in hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment, applying knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to enhance part functionality, reduce costs, and add value
  • Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Engage proactively in quality initiatives aimed at defect reduction and process enhancements, supporting qualification guidelines, specifications, and addressing top manufacturing issues

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing
  • Experience with hardware design, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance
  • Knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing principles
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
