Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products, components, and systems for manufacturing.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings according to industry standards.
- Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate design integrity and performance.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to optimize product function, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product realization.
- Develop and implement design modifications for existing products to improve performance, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities to ensure designs meet specified requirements.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, specifications, and design reports.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor) for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
- Demonstrated ability to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards and interpret engineering drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of various engineering materials and their properties, with experience in material selection for specific applications.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with FEA or CFD simulation tools.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, fabrication, or workshop tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming for design automation (e.g., Python, VBA).
