VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Design Engineer to provide support in San Antonio, TX.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. In Office. Pay is open based on degree and years of relevant work experience.
Requirements of the Design Engineer:
5 years in a similar Design Engineer role.
Must have experience working in a manufacturing plant (Automotive).
Strong CAD and GD&T skills.
Blueprint reading experience. Attention to detail.
Effective communication and organizational skills needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Duties of the Design Engineer:
The Design Engineer will perform tooling and solution design.
Design tools and equipment used to build vehicles.
Create detailed models and drawings to include tolerance specs and assembly layouts.
Support automation and robotics.
Provide prototype and tryout support.
Design checking tools and gages.
Work with Suppliers and tool shops.
Troubleshoot problems.
Maintain documentation and change management.
