Design Engineer Intern

As a Design Engineer Intern, you will support the engineering team in the development and improvement of firearm suppressors, components, and related accessories while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Help transfer data from one software to another
Updating legacy designs to the latest internal standards
Assist in creating and modifying new designs using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Support prototyping, testing, and evaluation of suppressors and related components
Help prepare and maintain engineering drawings and technical documentation
Participate in design reviews and collaborate with manufacturing and other internal teams
Assist with product research, including materials, manufacturing methods, and market trends
Support hands-on activities such as assembly, inspection, and basic measurements
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts
Provide general support across engineering projects as needed
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Familiarity with mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes is a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Interest in firearms, suppressors, or the outdoor industry preferred
Willingness to learn testing methods and engineering tools
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
