Dental Treatment Coordinator

Endodontic Specialists

 

We are a high-volume endodontic practice that prioritizes efficiency while delivering exceptional, timely care to our patients and referring doctors. Our relationship-focused, culture-driven team is growth-oriented, committed to continuous improvement, and dedicated to maintaining strong partnerships within our dental community.

We are seeking a personable and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients by reviewing recommended treatments, discussing financial options, and ensuring a clear and positive patient experience from consultation through completion of care.

 

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 7am-4pm


Responsibilities

  • Present proposed treatment plans to patients and explain procedures, timelines, and financial obligations
  • Coordinate scheduling of treatment appointments based on provider availability and patient needs
  • Obtain necessary pre-authorizations and ensure accurate insurance benefit breakdowns
  • Review payment options, process financial arrangements, and collect payments as needed
  • Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and ensure timely case acceptance
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and communication
  • Serve as a liaison between the provider and patient to facilitate understanding and trust
  • Educate patients on the importance and value of proposed treatments
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental administrative role

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with dental treatment planning and insurance coordination
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear and supportive way
  • Understanding of dental procedures, codes, and insurance plans
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory requirements
