Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant with general dentistry experience to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to our patients at our offices: Complete Dental Arts and Fayette Dental Group, located in Thomas Crossroads and Fayetteville, respectively. This position is co-located in Fayetteville and Newnan.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Assist the dental professionals during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs.
- Take and develop dental x-rays.
- Record patient information, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant work experience.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- General dentistry experience required.
