Dental Assistant (DA or RDA)

At Associates in Family Dentistry, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and patient-focused environment. We’re seeking an intelligent and compassionate Dental Assistant (RDA preferred) to join our team and help us deliver smiles that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and workspaces.
• Take digital dental X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on diagnosed treatment and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate and friendly care to our patients to create a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• X-ray certification required
• CPR certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus but not mandatory – new graduates are welcome to apply!

Job Type: Full-time M-Th

Must be available 7:30am-4:30pm Mon & Thurs and 7:30am-5:30pm Tues & Wed

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
