We are a privately owned, boutique periodontal and implant practice in Westwood, CA, seeking a Full-Time Surgical Dental Assistant / Oral Surgery Assistant to join our patient-focused, supportive, and upbeat team. What We Offer

✔ Competitive Pay: $22–$30/hour (based on experience)

✔ Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist doctor during surgical procedures including implants, bone grafts, and osseous surgery
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms efficiently
• Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
• Take and document accurate chart notes
• Assist with reports and patient records
• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout treatment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (surgical or specialty experience preferred)
• Valid California Dental X-Ray License
• Current CPR Certification
• Experience with OpenDental is a plus (not required)
