Position Responsibilities:
Develop demand forecasts and operational forecasts for different time horizons within the supply chain, while reviewing historical sales trends and researching demand drivers to understand the forecast drivers
Utilize a collaborative approach by working with sales and marketing to obtain current and accurate information while using demand planning software as the primary forecast tool
Provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies for new products and closely coordinate communication with customer action plans within the warehouse
Maintain best-in-class forecast accuracy levels and out-of-stock levels within the logistics process, while eliminating breakage, damage, and loss due to product age
Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/ General Education Degree (GED) and 8 plus years specific experience
