Deli Clerk - Part - time

Stoltzfus Meats is hiring a Part-Time Deli Clerk to join our retail market team in Intercourse, PA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, food preparation, and working in a fast-paced deli or grocery environment.

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers with deli selections, prepare sliced meats and cheeses, maintain displays, and support daily deli operations. Training is provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers with deli selections
• Slice, package, and label deli meats and cheeses
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked deli displays
• Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system
• Support general deli and market operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous deli, grocery, retail, or food service experience preferred but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Evening and weekend availability preferred

Schedule:

• Felixible Hours and Schedules available Monday - Saturday.
• Friday and/or Saturday availability strongly preferred.
